Boyo existed long before it had a name for itself. It started as designing swimwear in my free time around 2016. This soon went on to become upcycling used clothes from 2017-2019, and going on to hold a small-scale sustainable fashion show along with a fast fashion presentation in my high school. Starting somewhere in 2021, I returned to designing clothes after some time away during the pandemic. I was looking for clothing I couldnt find here, along with a more affordable price for pieces that were just a bit funkier. So, I began collecting vintage stamps and printing on second-hand items, before engulfing mystelf in full on clothing design.

Friends have always played a primary role in what Boyo is and continues to become. I have always worked to create the things my friends and I could only dream of, that make us feel our best. Self expression, confidence, and platonic love is the foundation of Boyo, and always be. My ultimate goal is to act as the friendgroup seamstress, and all I create out of my admiration for them!
In 2022, I started sewing jackets and coats out of thrifted blankets and quilts. It was only for friends, acting as a social activity that I hadnt been taking too seriously. As I began to realize this could be more than I imagined, and continuted to take some commisions. This quickly gained some traction, and I started vending at markets. I have felt so supported by the Boise community, which has lead me to where we are now, & being regularly featured in local flea and vintage markets. Boyo continues to grow, and I hope it grows with me. In collaboration with my wonderful & talented friends, who knows what will come next!
